2027: Armchair Political Movement Demands  Change in Warri Federal Constituency Seat

New political pressure group,  Armchair Political Movement,under the leadership of popular social media activist, Yemi Otuedon,has called for a new representative for Warri Federal Constituency Seat ahead of the 2027 elections, saying the incumbent, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi has fallen short of the expectations of the people of Warri Federal Constituency.

In their position,the group acknowledged Chief Ereyitomi’s political experience, describing him as “a master of the system,” but stressed that the current realities in Warri demand a different kind of leadership,  rooted in service, empathy,and active grassroots engagement.

According to the movement,the constituency is in urgent need of a servant leader, someone who not only understands the struggles of the people but is willing to walk closely with them,listen to their concerns,and prioritize their welfare above political convenience.

They emphasized the need for a dynamic Itsekiri son who carries genuine love for Warri Federal Constituency and possesses the energy,vision, and commitment to drive meaningful development.The group argued that leadership at this critical time must go beyond titles and influence, focusing instead on measurable impact and visible progress in the lives of ordinary citizens.

“The time has come to move from mastery to service,”the statement read.”Warri Federal Constituency deserves a representative who will serve,not rule,who will lead with humility,not distance.”

The Armchair Political Movement concluded by urging constituents to reflect deeply on the kind of leadership they desire as the next election cycle approaches, insisting that the future of Warri depends on bold and people centered choices.
